Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to New Hope!
Thanks for checking out New Hope. We’re a vibrant, diverse community of people who are discovering what it means to live out God’s kingdom.
We don’t have all of the answers. In fact, we’re in this together, trying to discover what it’s like to be a community that is uncompromisingly in love with God. If you’re looking for a place that is authentic, real and relevant, come and experience New Hope for yourself.
What should I wear?
Everyone at New Hope dresses in a variety of styles, depending on his or her background. Some people wear very casual clothes, such as a button-down shirt, shorts or jeans. Others wear an outfit representing their country of origin. You will also find some people in a suit and tie. The bottom line is that you are welcome to dress however you feel comfortable!
What is the style of your worship service?
Our 80-minute church services start with live, upbeat music featuring singers and a band. During this time, we invite the audience to sing along. If you don’t know the songs, you can simply enjoy the music. Don't worry — no one will put a microphone in your face!
We then pray together as a community. Each week, we invite people to come forward for this more connected time of prayer.
Then one of our pastors will share a practical and relevant message. You’ll find our messages easy to understand and filled with hope. We believe that life is tough, and we want to share a little hope and encouragement to help everyone get through it — by understanding how God's message relates to your life.
Do you have a programs for children?
New Hope is known for its dynamic children and youth ministries.
Kids Church is a worship service exclusively for children that takes place at the same time as our first (10:30 a.m.) service. Every week, the kids participate in hands-on experiences that bring the Bible to life and help make God real and relevant to them.
Kids Care is our free child care program, is also available during first service. Right after the service, you can pick up your children from Kids Church or child care. They cannot leave until a parent or legal guardian signs them out.

Do you have programs for teens?
Yes! Middle School Worship is the perfect fit for kids ages 10-14. It takes place during the 10:30 a.m. service on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. It provides a place where they can worship and experience God with their friends, and where we can help grow them into people learning to live out God’s kingdom.
We also have a class for high school students every Saturday, in addition to having separate small groups for girls and guys during the month. During summers, our high school students have the opportunity to participate in an international mission trip.
How about young adults?
Our young adults have something going on every month, from Bible study and worship to food, fun and just hanging out. Join the group for class on the second and fourth Saturday of the month between 11 a.m. and noon and for a themed potluck on the fourth Saturday of the month.
What happens after the worship services?
After first service, you’re invited to Seven Minutes or Less, a brief information session at the front of the worship center. You’ll learn more about us, and we’ll answer your questions — and send you home with a little something, too.
We hope you will have a meaningful, relevant and uplifting experience at New Hope. We want to help you discover what it means to live out God’s kingdom wherever you are. So if you have questions or would like to take the next step, let us know.
